You Don't Have to Keep Holding Everything Together

Healing therapy in English and Mandarin Chinese.

You may be the person everyone turns to.

The one who keeps the family going, works hard, solves problems, and makes sure everyone else is okay.

Yet when the day finally slows down, your own mind won't.

You replay conversations.
Question your decisions.
Carry guilt that doesn't seem to belong to you.
Wonder why the same struggles keep showing up, even when you're trying so hard to change.

You don't have to keep figuring it out alone.

Therapy offers a space to pause, make sense of what you've been carrying, and begin creating new ways of relating to yourself, your relationships, and your life.

You are not alone, and meaningful change is possible.

A Different Therapy Experience *

We Look Beneath the Surface

Anxiety, burnout, conflict, and self-doubt rarely appear without a history. We will explore the experiences, beliefs, relationships, and protective patterns that may be contributing to what you are facing today.

You Will Learn Practical Ways to Respond

Therapy is not only about talking. Depending on your needs, we may work on emotional regulation, boundaries, communication, self-compassion, behavioural changes, or ways to step out of overthinking.

We Work at a Pace That Feels Safe

You will not be pushed into discussing painful experiences before you feel ready. Trauma-informed therapy emphasizes safety, choice, collaboration, and respect for the ways you have learned to protect yourself.

Your Cultural Context Matters

Family expectations, immigration, identity, language, parenting, and cultural values can all shape emotional well-being. These experiences will not be treated as side issues; they are part of your whole story.

I believe therapy is about more than having someone who listens. It's about making sense of your experiences, understanding the patterns that shape your life, and discovering new ways to move forward.

I'm a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), providing online therapy in English and Mandarin for adults across Canada. Many of my clients are professionals, parents, first-generation immigrants, and individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, or life transitions.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 15 years working in marketing in China before starting a new chapter in Canada. Having built a life across cultures, balanced career and family, and navigated life in a second language, I understand that our struggles are often shaped by much more than the challenges we face today.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Drawing from CBT, ACT, DBT-informed therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed care, and Gottman Method principles, I tailor therapy to your unique needs—helping you gain deeper understanding while building practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

Whatever Brings You Here

Your experiences are unique, but you don't have to face them alone. Here are some of the reasons people choose to begin therapy.

An Integrative Approach to Therapy

No single therapeutic approach works for every person. I draw from several evidence-informed modalities and tailor our work to your needs, goals, readiness, and preferences.

What Working Together Looks Like

Step 1 : We Start With Your Story

Every person's story is different. Our first sessions focus on understanding what brings you here, what's important to you, and what you hope will be different.

Step 2 — We Make Sense of the Whole Picture

Together, we'll explore the patterns, relationships, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck—not to dwell on the past, but to better understand the present.

Step 3 — We Build New Ways Forward

You'll develop practical tools, healthier patterns, and new ways of responding that feel more aligned with the life you want to create.

Step 4 — We Support Lasting Change

Therapy isn't about becoming someone different. It's about building a life that feels more connected, confident, and authentic to who you are.

EMDR Therapy

When Insight Isn't Enough, EMDR Can Help

You may understand what happened.

You may even know why it still affects you.

Yet your heart races in certain situations, your body tenses without warning, or you find yourself reacting in ways that don't make sense—even when you want to respond differently.

That's because difficult experiences aren't only stored as memories. They can also become embedded in the way our brain and nervous system respond to the world.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process these experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally overwhelming or present. As healing takes place, many people notice they are able to remember what happened without feeling as though they are reliving it.

When appropriate, I integrate EMDR with other therapeutic approaches to support healing from trauma, anxiety, distressing life events, relationship wounds, and experiences that continue to influence how you think, feel, and connect with others today.
